We arrived at 9.00am on a fine, sunny Saturday morning and were trained by Jason who owns UK Parachuting. We were then kitted out with jumpsuits and coached by our tandem jumpers.

The plane flew to an altitute of over 10,000 feet. The view of the sea below was amazing. As we slowly glided downwards I could see the Airdome, people like dots waiting for us to arrive......there were miles and miles of grassland and to see the sea was incredible!

The names of the jumpers were John McLean, myself, Joanne Elliot-Bent, Jordan Duberry, Craig Albani and Ryan Fowler.  All together we raised over 2,000 for the Julian Campbell Foundation. The student that raised the most was Ryan Fowler, who raised £375. He won a prize, which was a free DVD taken of his jump as well as photographs taken of this unique experience.  The member of staff who raised the most was Joanne Elliot-Bent, who raised an amazing £740 for the Julian Campbell Foundation.
