JULIAN CAMPBELLFOUNDATIONEmpowering Young People to Manage Their WellbeingMovement · Expression · Belonging
JCF uses creative movement to support emotional expression, confidence and healthy ways of responding to stress. No dance experience is needed—just a willingness to take part in your own way.
MOVEA workshop for every body
Sessions combine accessible dance, rhythm, creative games and guided reflection. Young people explore how movement can change energy, communicate emotion and strengthen connection with others.
Activities can be adapted for different ages, abilities, group needs and settings. The emphasis is on participation and wellbeing—not getting the steps perfect.
Simple group activities create trust, ease nerves and help everyone settle into the space.
Music and movement help young people notice energy, express feelings and try new ways of responding.
Shared sequences and creative choices encourage teamwork, voice, confidence and belonging.
The group connects the experience to everyday wellbeing, pressure, relationships and self-care.
JOY IN MOTIONWhy movement matters
Use movement as another language for feelings that may be difficult to explain in words.
Build trust, belonging and positive relationships through shared creative activity.
Notice energy, mood and body signals, then practise movement that can help release tension or restore calm.
Develop confidence, resilience and self-belief in a supportive, non-judgemental space.
See JCF in motion
We will feature a JCF dance workshop film here so schools, families and community partners can see the warmth, creativity and confidence in the room.
